MetroIPC

Challenge

In 2015, Metro Immediate and Primary Care rapidly gained popularity as the go-to clinic for millennials in the Washington, DC Metro area. After becoming a part of the GW Medical Facilities network, they decided it was time to upgrade their online presence to appeal to prospective patients.

Two important things that MetroIPC wanted their new website to do was to provide an easy way for their patients to book appointments online with their mobile phones and to increase awareness their metro accessibility.

Solution

I used imagery of Washington DC’s metro system to emphasize their proximity to the metro. Increasing the presence of their brown metallic color in their brand color palette also helped to enhance the metro feel.

MetroIPC’s new Book An Appointment box is front and center when the website loads on all devices to make appointment booking easy. Other online services are also easily accessible on the homepage (online payments, access to medical records , etc.) to ensure that MetroIPC’s patients can get to what they need without having to extensively search the site.

Butchbaby & Co.

Butchbaby & Co. is the first gender-neutral line of “alternity” wear for pregnant individuals. The goal is to provide maternity apparel that eliminates loss of identity for masculine of center women, transgender men, and other woman who want to avoid the hyper-femininity of the current market.

I am currently working with Vanessa Newman, owner and CEO, and the rest of the Butchbaby team with creating the brand elements, website and other marketing materials as the company works towards it’s official website and product launch in 2016.

This is currently a work in progress.

AllyElle Cards

I teamed up with a writer in early 2014 to create AllyElle Cards, a quirky greeting card shop on Etsy that sells “greeting cards that say “I love you” the way YOU do”.

Though my collaboration in this effort was short lived, I really explored a different style of digital illustration and developed new technique with the debut of the shop’s preliminary line of greeting cards. The most popular “I love you like Kanye loves Kanye” card was featured on MTV.comComplex.com, and Huffington Post, just to name a very few.

*Please note that I am no longer affiliated with this project and am not receiving any compensation from any purchase of their products.*

Real Estate Maps

While employed at New Home Media, a custom signs and graphics shop catering mostly to real estate companies, the core part of my work contribution was illustrating many site and area maps for several Ryan Homes, NV Homes, and communities along the east coast displaying the housing layout of the communities and identifying places of interest that surround them.

These maps were custom drawn in Adobe Illustrator (with a mouse!) with quick turnaround times.
