Split

UX/UI Design & Development

Challenge

Split was in need of a total branding package from the ground up to cater to commuters in Washington, DC. They needed to be able to compete in an ocean full of rideshare services such as Uber, Lyft, and Sidecar.

The Gigawatt Group’s talented team of brand strategists and designers handled the brand positioning, messaging and graphics, but it was up to me to create the best responsive user experience for their website.

Solution

I took a clean and simple approach to the website that compliments the character & environmental illustrations created by Gigawatt’s design team and displays the coverage area of Split’s rideshare service in the DC area.

With their plans to house a blog and offer career opportunities through the site, I worked with a Drupal developer to convert my responsive front-end HTML build of the Split website to fit his backend work within the CMS.
